No HW transcoding anymore

I am about to test it but I have had similar issues.  I am running ESX 6.7 with PCI passthru mode on a nvidia quadro M2000.  I have 2 servers with multiple M2000 and P620 quadro cards.  I have snapshots of each VM so if something stops working after an update or windows update I can test it to see if that is the cause.

 

Another question:

There are multiple ffmpeg sessions running but only one uses the GPU.  I believe the others are doing stuff for skip intro and all that.  Is there a way to make them use the gpu as well?

First one is with a 4k movie running in a browser, second one is without.

@cul8rmom1 Also make sure you check the NVEnc/NVDec matrix over at nVidia's site. You'll see your Maxwell and Pascal series Quadro cards lack support for newer encodings and if you're attempting to use those it will likely fall back to software encoding/decoding.
