Some of my collections don't have cover images on home screen anymore after migration. How can I get them updated?

Just click on the three dot menu in the lower right of the collection then choose "edit images" and from there you can search the internet fo a viable image and/or you can choose an image from your drives.

Image wise there is little difference between a collection and a movie except the image capture part is replace by, usually, a montage of existing posters for the movies involved.
Personally, I always replace the montage, because I simply don't like them, with an image I find elsewhere.

Hey, thanks for your reply! Actually I knew that feature, but my question related to achieving the recreation of the auto-image, e.g. with the four covers as seen in my example image to the right.

FWIW: As I said I always replace that montage image but, when I fist lost one of those, I investigated how to force Emby to recreate it and I could find no way except deleting the collection, rescanning the library, and recreating the collection. I suppose the same effect might be obtained by creating a "new" collection and placing all the movies from the first in it. and then deleting the old collection.
If the old collection was named say "Batman collection" the new one could be named "Batman movies" and there would not be any naming problem. It is possible, but never tested, if you rename the existing collection you might get a regeneration of the images but I think that would not work as Emby would not detect that as a change or it might be possible that the "Refresh metadata option, and choosing the replace existing images option would also regenerate those images. That is also untested, at least by me, but it does seem that it would have a good chance of doing what you want.
Edit: I just ran a basic test and that appears to work but, until others test, it might be good to proceed carefully.

OK, thans for clarifying. I'll opt out of that, as it's too risky for my taste ;) I'll ask Luke if he has an idea.

Try just running the  normal library scan.

Not working

How many emby libraries have you created, and what folder paths did you add to each one?
