Emby Connect no longer works

Hello, 

I have had Emby up and running for a good 2 years with no issues accessing my server remotely via emby connect.    Recently I had a new Fibre modem (ONT) put in.  Ever since it stopped working.  I didn't change ISP's just a new ONT device that was installed.  That is running directly into my TPLINK Deco Wifi 6 Mesh router.  (Same as before).   I went nuclear this morning and reset my whole mesh network and even rebuilt my Emby server.  Unfortunately the issue remains.  I have the needed port forwardiing rule in my router and just puzzled.  WHen I choose Emby Connect I can sign in and I see myh server with the right internal IP and port tha tis mapped but when I click it it can't connect.

Ok I'm making progress, it seems to be a port issue.  I can't see my pc over any port specified in Emby while also creating the Port forward rule on my router.   An ISP can't block all ports can they?

Hi, they can. Some IPS's only allow use of certain ports. Some none at all if they use a CGNat.

@bjennejohndid you determine if your ISP uses a CGNat?
