Show "specials" in "upcoming"?

Does anyone know if there a setting somewhere to control whether "specials" show in the "upcoming" list of TV?

Shows like Doctor Who offer a number of full length (even movie length) content critically relevant to the main storyline.  These are classified (probably rightly) as specials by theTVdb definition but it would be interesting to have the option to have them show up in the main stream of upcoming (even though that would introduce all the 3 min advertising fluff promo specials and all the interviews and musical events and fundraisers etc...).

I don't know if I'd hate it/love it until I tried it.

Thanks.  I don't think I'm going to leave stable at the moment, but good to know that I'll get to try it out shortly.

How do you enable it? Is it always on? (hope not)
