How is the future for Emby on Amazon devices?

from what I read, Amazon switches to their own OS on all devices, soon.

I’m wondering about Emby, are you already working on a release for that OS?

Hi.  We are not in the "inside" group of partners with early access but we will be working on it as soon as we do get access.

So you lose 'Android/GoogleTV' and gain 'AmazonTV' ... 

I think some Amazon devices are using the new OS already ?

I am very much hoping they do not force an 'upgrade' on all existing FireTV devices .. without having access to apk's and Google Play Store - I can't personally see the os having an easy transition ...

If I had to guess I bet it will be new fire tv devices only.
