AntaresFR 9 Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 (edited) Hi, I'm in the way of moving my server to another one but i wan to keep my library. The only change will be that my media will be now locally and not on a share. Everything is good but i made a little mistake and i hope there is a mean to correct it :d I copied the folder in my user appdata to the new server and start emby and i get everything back good. But then I wanted to remove a fold in a library and add the local one in place. Everything looks gut but emby started to scraping parental rating online and updated my nfo files. I then stopped emby on the new server but i saw more than 700 nfo updated. On my old server, pointing to the same folder, library stay good so i think metadatas are clean in database. Is there a mean to force my good emby to rewrite those nfo files without clicking "save" in metadata manager on 700+ items ? Should i have to remove those corrupted nfo and do something to rewrite them ? Thank you for your advices. Edited November 20, 2023 by AntaresFR
AntaresFR 9 Posted November 20, 2023 Author Posted November 20, 2023 At the moment i made a little trick. I opened the library and put islocked at 1 in the mediaitems table where officialrating was not null. I see i made the mistake to put my custom ratings for my movies in officialrating field. So i did this query in the db : update MediaItems set CustomRating=OfficialRating, IsLocked=1 where OfficialRating is not NULL; At least, everything looks good in my server now but i have to rewrite with a tip all the nfo. I would like to rewrite them with info kept from the database if possible. Regards
AntaresFR 9 Posted November 21, 2023 Author Posted November 21, 2023 Ok i managed to solved it. After updating the db with dbeaver, i dropped all nfo files from the folder and launched a metadata update. It rebuilds all my nfo with good things. I'm happy. This topic is solved
