At least on my Windows server install, the configs, program, etc. are located under c:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server

Not sure if I did a custom install ever or if that is the default.  Hope that helps.

For some reason. you and EBR seem reluctant to tell me where the settings/configuration files are maintained. I've asked several times. Of course, I know that I can't edit them manually, but I could delete them and start fresh.

Hi.  You would just delete the entire folder where you installed Emby server.  Other than Connect credentials (which are actually the credentials for this forum) we do not store any of your login or settings - they are all on your machine.  Some things are in config files, some in the database and some in browsing and app data for the apps.

Thanks for the replies. As I originally said, I deleted the entire folder. When I installed another portable folder, all the settings were still there. Weird.

For whatever reason, I can not add a user (my name, which is the admin) to my logins or access my privileges.

Is the old server running, under processes ?

If it is then there will be a ip:port issue.

Much thanks to you all, but I give up. We've been going at this for several days and I'm no closer to solving this problem of duplicate listings. There seems to something corrupted in this portable version. If as you say, my settings are in the Emby folder, then they should have been erased when I deleted the folder. They were not.

I can't access the logins, users and profiles. As I mentioned, I may be upgrading my PC soon and hopefully, this nonsense won't carry forward.

I'me grateful for your time and courtesy.

Regards...John

I have to enter under my name, John, and yes, under that account I can access Edit Metadata. I can not access Permissions or the many of the Profile screens.

This account remains hidden. It does not appear on the login screens. I have to enter it each and every time and it can not be changed.

Hi, if you can sign in as your admin, then you can manage everything on the server. Have you tried going into Emby user management? You could do that and grant your other user admin access if that's what you want to do.
