Do you have to pay for this app to be able to watch tv

Hi I have a question  are you able to see tv without paying or do you have to pay I’m new here

Live TV is a Premiere feature, so you need to pay to enable your server to provide Premiere features (Premiere is installed at the server, not the app).  Note that if you pay for Premiere, any client which is not normally free to use can connect to your server without having to buy an app unlock.

I am not clear from your question whether you have realised that you have to set up a server (or be offered the use of one by a friend).  The Emby clients can't do anything without, and the Emby organisation doesn't provide media, only software.
