Play from beginning not showing on new server setup.

Yes, clicking play starts the episode at the live point in the recording.  It also often stops the recording so even if you rewind to get to the beginning, you can't watch the whole thing because the recording was stopped prematurely. If that didn't happen, it would only be a minor nuisance to rewind to the beginning of the show. But shows that have the "play from beginning" button can be played and the recording continues, so you can watch the whole show.

Actually, pressing play doesn't even allow to rewind to the beginning. Just goes directly into live viewing mode, only allowing to rewind to the point where the show was when the play button was pressed, so not useful at all.
