chromecast neads a activ ipad app

HI,

 

it´s is normal that i can´t turn the ipad off if i watch thru chromecast?

 

If i send a stream with my Win Laptop (Chrome Browser), then i could shutdown him.... but if i close the ipad app then the stream stopps....

 

maybe i forgot to set any setting?

Chromecast streaming should work without needing the iPad. Can you explain what your issue is when you lock your iPad? Also when you mean off, do you mean powered off or locked?

after i allowed the right UDP Port in my Firewall it works now.....

 

sometimes a small think can made a big problem :-)
