Truenas Scale HW transcoding

Hey I'm looking for help trying to use hardware transcoding on TrueNAS-SCALE-23.10.0.1.

I am using emby (4.7.14.0) from Truecharts (15.0.12) on a QNAP-TS464.

I add theses users to GIDLIST :

and selected my GPU :

 

At this point Emby recognize my hardware

but it fails when trying to transcode any file.

Is there anything I missed or is it even possible to make it work with Truenas Scale ? For information HW transcoding was working with Truenas Core

I don't know, is there a beta version available for Truenas Scale ?

@fyutinsSorry my mistake, no there isn't, but the 4.8 stable release will be soon.

Hello, I tried with the new version 4.8.0.80 and I am still facing the same issue. Do you have any idea what I can try ?

Can you try resetting this customization back to default:

Warning EncoderParametersH264Qsv.Preset: Original:  Actual: fast

Same issue

I searched for more infos about the error message and it seems like the culprit could be the iGPU from Intel that is really annoying to set up.

I don't really have time right now to test more options so I will let the CPU do work for now. Maybe when I will get more time I will try to dig some more.
