Emby EPG seems not to work with xz

I have link to an xmltv epg which seems not to work in emby.

It has xz compression. Inside the compressed file the epg has not file extension (don't know if this matter).

If I open it in windows with winrar and notepad++ is a perfect xmltv file.

I use it in Tv headend with a specific python script.

My emby server is on a SynologyNas.

Is it due to the xz compression? other epg sources with gz compression do work

Ok. I'll do it tomorrow.

Also with xz file the epg update takes no time and when I go in the "edit metadata" of a channel to check if it has the new guide as an option for epg source, emby keeps on showing a spinning wheel.

In the meanwhile I have done a simple bash that download the xz file, unxz it and add xml extension. I set that downloaded file as local epg source and it works. Running the script in synology scheduler every day, should work.

Here is the LOG.

I removed every EPG source, waited the server to end updating, than at time 11:01 added http://rytecepg.epgspot.com/epg_data/rytecIT_Basic.xz as source epg (ITALY>XMLTV)

As I told, unzippig (un-xz) the file and adding the .xml extension, does work as local source.

Hi @LittleWizardcan you please attach a copy of the .xz file for testing? 

Maybe zip it up to make sure the forum compression software doesn't mess with it. Thanks.
