STRM get media title from VLC stream?

Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way, I have a playlist of audio files that are constantly streaming from VLC via HTTP. I'm connecting to that stream via .STRM file in Emby. Is there a way to be able to see what the title of the current track is? A different protocol maybe?

Yes, I'm feeding VLC a playlist file to stream, and I've just entered the http address in a .STRM file. I've noticed when I open the http address in another instance of VLC, I'm also not getting the track name, so I'm probably not doing something right.

From Emby's standpoint I can tell you that this won't work if you're doing it as one strm for the entire playlist.

We do probe it for media info initially, and even if we got a track title at that point it's not something that would get kept up to date from one song to the next.
