Playback freezes after short time

I'm in the process of upgrading my server to some newer hardware and would like to streamline the apps loaded on it. I have been having this issue since setting up the Pluto and Stirr VMs. This issue sounds like the issue reported here:

But I can get it to continuously play if I add another app between the stream and Emby which I would like to not have to do if possible. I am using a Pluto TV VM and feeding it directly into Emby. Everything populates correctly and looks like it works until you start a stream. After 3-5 minutes it will freeze and backing out and restarting will get it going again but it will just freeze again in another 3-5 minutes. Sometimes waiting a minute or 2 then skipping forward will get it going again but then it will just stop again, and you miss anything during the "dead" time if you try to back it up.

So to get around this in the past, I setup a Channels DVR and run it through there and then into Emby. And no more freezes. Any ideas on why it runs fine on Emby via Channels but Emby freezes when accessing the stream directly? I've attached a log file of when I started watching a Bob Ross stream and it froze within 3 minutes.

Here they are. I started it at around 9:37pm and it stalled at around 9:40pm. I waited a few minutes, but it will just hang there forever. I can back it up and it will then play until it hits where it stalled previously. Like I said, it will stream fine if I run it through Channels DVR first and then use its m3u/xml output in Emby. I have started using IPTVBoss and I would like to get to the point where Emby can stream it directly and I can free up resources needed so I can keep the machine I need to a minimum.

TIA!

I tried the latest beta but the issue exists there also.

Found this thread which discusses issue I'm asking about. Why can I use the m3u and xml files with every other app and it works without any issues but not with Emby? Will this ever be addressed or am I stuck loading addition software and playing with multiple configurations when I just want to use Emby??

Can you please attach the emby server and ffmpeg log files from that? Thanks.

And I started it @ 8:21am and it froze about 10 minutes later. Playing back on Shield and it will just freeze. Then after a minute or so I get the spinning blue circle and a frame of video from farther in the stream then it's dead.

?????? @LukeAny input on this issue? I am just trying to reduce the number of applications I need to maintain just to keep the wife happy. If she or I liked the guides from the other applications, then I would just use them, but they all suck in one way or another. If Emby could stream these directly from the source, then I wouldn't have the need to route it through another application that streams it directly without issues.

Most apps will freeze on those urls. If you have a working setup then you are lucky.

Every app I have tried works fine with them other then Emby.

I even have IPTVBoss working with them for guide data.
