laupd 0 Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Hi guys, I am new to Emby (25 years with Plex) and various IPTV sources. Moved because of the support on Plex is now awful. Last night started watching a 2 hr programme, that was still recording. Started watching 60 min in. I skipped a few commercials, which worked fine, but soon realised that the recording had stopped when we had started watching. The recorded file is the length of what I watched. My server is a Surface Pro PC with an i7 and onboard GPU (can get exact spec if relevant). My client is an Android Formuler Z8 Pro running the Emby app. Network is gigabit. I’ve searched the forum and this doesn’t appear a commonly reported issue, so any advice or confirmation of what I am doing wrong would be appreciated.
