Luke 42077 Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Hi, how have you determined that Emby Server is using 80% of your memory?
Lizard_Ranger 0 Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Hi rzumwalde329, My Emby server is running on an old i5 with 16Gb RAM average uptime is 2 years. I have never had that issue however the first Emby server I built was under spec which caused playback lag. I would suggest digging a bit deeper to find the true cause for the exes memory usage.
Neminem 1518 Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Are you using Memory as you transcoding folder ?
rzumwalde329 0 Posted November 6, 2023 Author Posted November 6, 2023 This is a new build with my system using a Xeon processor. Every time I play live tv It starts climbing in usage. If I have the channel on for 3 hours it consumes close to 20GB of memory. If i stop watching it will release that memory. No I'm not using memory as my transcoding folder. That is on its own drive.
Luke 42077 Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 What process is it? How are you measuring it?
