movie & audio lag while rewind/forward

Recommended Posts

Hello !

i have notice a problem while rewind/forward during video play: after some rewind/forward a big lag between video & audio appears.

most of the time, the first fast-forward/rewind works without a hitch, but suddenly a big lag appears.

Have you already met this issue ?

Try a test video that is known to be correct with a proper video index.  Quite often video found online has errors that don't show up with dedicated player software because these apps check for problems and fix them on the fly.  Where as direct playback in browsers can fail if the video has index errors.  So, just because it plays back elsewhere, does not mean the video is free from problems.  You can also try remuxing the video with a video editor or app that fixes issues.  The easiest way is to use a proper test video and if that works, you know it's pretty much your video that has problems.

Hope that helps.
