okurokonfire 4 Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 I have a (probably) very unusual question. Lets say I have: /Music/Band_A and /Music/Band_B And i have split album of those two(half of tracks are made and performed by Band_A and another half by Band_B), which is located in Band_A location To be more specific band A is Katatonia, Band B is Primordial. I can see this album in the view of any of those two bands, but only the tracks made by this band. When I open one of those band's pages and click "play" the playing queue is created which includes only those bands tracks in the queue. How do i configure it to add the whole album(with both bands), not just songs from one of those bands? Actually, sometimes I want this behaviour to be varied and configurable. For some splits and compilations I want every track to appear by creating playing queue for any of the artists involved, and for some compilations current behaviour satisfies me.

Vicpa 611 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Hi Depending on how you have the album tagged you can get close to what you want. Here is the link to how MusicBrainz has the album tagged. Release “Scarlet Heavens / To Enter Pagan MCMXCVI” by Katatonia / Primordial - MusicBrainz.. -vicpa
Luke 42080 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 What is the album artist tag for the tracks? If it is the same, then they should get grouped into one album. 1
okurokonfire 4 Posted October 30, 2023 Author Posted October 30, 2023 Thanks! I didn't realize that album artist could work this way. I set for both of them and it now works 1
