dcving1two3 3 Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 I understand that T Mobile as an ISP is using CGNAT which will prevent me from forwarding ports to allow access my server. Does anyone have any reliable way I can still provide access to my family and friends? I unfortunately cannot get a T Mobile business account which gets you a firewall that can be managed as well as a static IP if you need. I just need help with any crafty way to allow my family to still access my server while using T Mobile as an ISP. It is $120 cheaper per month than my current ISP which makes any solution worth it to me.
GrimReaper 4740 Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 There's number of CGNAT topics around forum (and I suspect there'll be more with Starlink gaining in popularity), with various solutions suggested, which basically boils down to: you have to have a tunnel to punch through (VPN, ZeroTier, Tailscale etc.). Have a read through some of them, like this one: and decide which solution would work best in your scenario.
