Not able to playback videos using remote access

Hello all,

 

I've tried to access my emby library using remote access.

I've set the port forwarding in my router, disconnected from my wifi and use celluar connections. 

I was able to connect to my home emby library using remote access ip address + port(8096).

I was able to load the library and see all the contents, meta info etc, everything seems work just fine via remote access.

 

However I was not able to play any videos, it just stuck after I click the play button. My internet has 500 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, so the connection speed shouldn't be an issue here as well. 

 

Any idea what's stopping videos from playing?

Hi, do you get an error message? Are you using a reverse proxy?
