4k content color off in emby only

At-least for Andor and The Witcher I assume  others too. same thing happens in windows too. 1080p is fine for me but not 4k. it also flickers between normal looking to washed out back to normal again.

Can mod move this to general or Mac OS, and safari crashes Emby on Mac OS when watching something.

It seems that HDR is not being processed correctly.

Can you confirm that it is being direct-played?  Forcing transcoding (by selecting playback collection, maybe more than once) should produce the right colours.

I currently use firefox because safari crashes for me. but how do i know if it's being direct-played? I just play in the browser. how to force trascoding?

i just fixed it. it was hdr tone maping I turned it on and it fixed the problem
