Friends share, seeing others continued watching?

Why am i seeing others continued watching? I asked my friend and he said he has no clue. Said it was just a limitation of Emby. Is this correct?

hi, sounds like you are both logged in as the same user on that particular Emby Server.

For starters, whose server is it? His, yours, or someone else's?

It's not a setting it's a different user to login with. Whoever owns the server needs to give you both your own separate user profiles to log in with.

Its my friends server. It was working fine for a while until he added more users. Maybe he gave two of us the same user profile. I'm going to bug him about it lol. Thanks
