Metadata disappearing in macOS

Hi,

I have a strange problem where I have been creating playlists and editing the metadata as music files are added ie. Artist, Album Artist & Album where the metadata wasn't picked up.

Everyday my metadata starts to slowly disappear. My playlists start showing missing images when I look at the metadata all I see is the song title and the date the song was added.

Any idea what would cause this loss of metadata over a period of time.

Running macOs Sonoma, EMBY Server 4.7.14.0

One other anomaly I noticed, when I was running Emby Server on windows the playlists had a mixture of images on each playlist icon now they just appear blank on macOS.

Can you monitor the contents of /Users/rickyrosa/.config/emby-server/metadata ?

Are files being deleted from there? Can you make a note of the size and number of files before and after this happens?

Monitored 4-Nov-2023 1.73GB + 10,768 files,

6-Nov-2023: 1.73GB 10,768

today 08-Dec-2023: 1.82GB + 11,553 files.

Doesn't appear to be losing files.

I am now using the Synology NAS Emby Server, now issues.

The anomaly I mentioned previously concerning the playlists on MACOS that doesn't add images is also not an issue on the NAS Emby server.

Could you look into this anomaly.
