The configured user limit (65536) on the number of inotify watches has

Hi,

Noticed that my scans are taking forever/never finishing and found this error in the log. "The configured user limit (65536) on the number of inotify watches has been reached"

I have found other users with this issue but they all seem to be using Synology, whereas my installation is as a docker on Ubuntu

Emby Version 4.8.0.49 beta

The thread linked below should get you on track though you want to set a value higher than 64k (your current limit). Without knowing the actual number of watchers needed a value of 262144 should be good.

After you change the values and reboot you can check with

sysctl -a | grep inotify
