intranetsnob 0 Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Hi, It seems as of late, emby connect is unstable, users are unable to go past the login screen and it has spinning circles only? could be related to sign-in via emby connect, anyone else experiencing this? Thank you.
intranetsnob 0 Posted October 7, 2023 Author Posted October 7, 2023 This seems to also come up quite frequently!

Hi, typical causes of this are firewall, security software, or vpn. Can you look into those? Have you tried doing a direct connection to your server without using Emby connect?
intranetsnob 0 Posted October 9, 2023 Author Posted October 9, 2023 Hi Luke, Thank you for the response, this has started recently with no changes to the backend from the firewall or security aspect. Has there been any development in the emby connect options? Will check against direct connection, thanks!
Luke 42078 Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Hi, there have not been any changes to the way Emby Connect works. i would still take a look at those things anyway as well as browser extensions if this is the web app. And results of direct connection testing will be helpful to know as well. Thanks.
intranetsnob 0 Posted October 11, 2023 Author Posted October 11, 2023 Hi Luke, Can confirm, emby connect seems to be the issue. Direct IP to server = no real issues But with emby connect, everything either stalls or struggles to work through. Thanks

Thanks OK so this means you probably have something blocking your connection to our Emby Connect server.
intranetsnob 0 Posted October 11, 2023 Author Posted October 11, 2023 Hi Luke Thanks for that, is there a way to find/. isolate where that issue could be Nothing has changed in the backend and it seems to be something that has popped up over the last week? Thanks.
Luke 42078 Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 @intranetsnobare you still running into this? Were you able to figure it out?
