IPGXEM 1 Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Hi guys, When I change the quality of a movie in the Emby app, I get the maximum streaming limit has been reached error. How do I fix this from happening? I assume it is some kind of setting in my server but not sure where. Thanks in advance for your help.

pwhodges 2012 Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 There's a server-wide limit at the bottom of the Network settings page in the dashboard. There's a user-specific limit on the profile page of each user. Paul

IPGXEM 1 Posted October 6, 2023 Author Posted October 6, 2023 I have the Max simultaneous video streams set to one and if I set it to 2 it doesnt give the error... so I assume the app thinks its 2 streams when i change the quality?

I thought you said you get it with 1000? But sorry I was mistakenly thinking of the quality setting when I said to remove it. Anyway, is this android?
ebr 16187 Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Hi. Can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device and see how that compares? https://emby.media/emby-for-android.html Thanks.
IPGXEM 1 Posted October 6, 2023 Author Posted October 6, 2023 That seems to have fixed it thank you... 1
