Hi, you only get a bif file when you set the thumbnail images interval to 10 seconds. Chapter images are just saved individually and not imbedded into a gif, and those don't get saved in media folders.

If it's not in your media folder then it would be under the server's internal metadata folder.

I would also like to ask, I logged in to my account with EMBY on browser A and set up some things. When I found out that when I logged in to browser B, it (mostly) returned to default. What is the reason why EMBY does not have synchronization function?

The theme cannot be synchronized, and the background image I set to enable seems to have been turned off again when opening EMBY in a new browser.

It has been working all along.
I set up to save the 10 second thumbnail in the media file, but I still haven't seen it. I also checked that it's not in the/var/lib/emby/metadata directory, so where else is it? Looking forward to your answer, thank you!

If you have set it to 10 seconds AND run the scheduled thumbnail task (in the schedule section) then after a peroid of time, search for *.bif files.  As you have ticked the 'save with media' option - they will be alonside the media - named the same as the media filename.bif   The items then need to be refreshed to use them - so run a library scan using the 'search for missing metadata' option - and it will pickup the bif files.   The scan will not start until after the thumbnail images task has completed - it may take some time - but just search for the .bif files using your OS and they should start appearing.

If you turn on debug logging - you will also see new log files created for each item - called

quick-extract-imageseries*

these contains details on each item.

Hi, theme options are unique to each app/browser/device because you may want to use different themes on different screens.

 What background image do you mean?

Most settings will be used on every device and they will be consistent, but some are specific to each device and will have to be set on each one.
