Hello

The Live TV channels takes around 10-15 seconds to start playing
while using the same stream with other IPTV applications its takes around 1 second to start
using emby server version 4.8.0.51, docker

tried with multiple clients : web, android, desktop. same with all
when playing videos and not LiveTV, everything works good

attached log files

Thanks !

I've also had this for a good few years. It was similar in Plex. I presume it's Emby buffering/transcoding.

I'd love to get it as quick as the IPTV apps but I'm not holding my breath.

what you want to do, is ask about the progress of tvnext. the fully written, but unreleased, solution to these issues and many more

You won't get an answer, though; but we hope that in time they will be irritated into just getting it integrated at last!

The delay in starting Live TV seems to be something we just have to live with unless the tvnext code miraculously appears in some future build.

The answer @luke provided above is impractical as in many cases it simply swaps one problem for another. Creating a different problem is not a solution.  Many of the live TV tuners in use provide a stream that needs to be converted for a number of popular client devices.
