mrmarkfr 8 Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I'm migrating my Emby to new hardware, and found a directory with 82G of files left over from the conversion process. Two questions 1) is this normal, or should those have been automatically deleted after the conversions and 2) do I need to move these files over to the new hardware?
mrmarkfr 8 Posted October 4, 2023 Author Posted October 4, 2023 The directory is in the root of the PC that Emby Server is running on. C:\Temp\Emby Conversions
Luke 42083 Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 OK well that's not an Emby folder, so you must have configured something in Emby Server to use that folder. What was that?
mrmarkfr 8 Posted October 4, 2023 Author Posted October 4, 2023 It was under Conversions, Settings. I thought I had to list a folder there.
Luke 42083 Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Assuming that's it, it's probably the temp folder, and no, you don't need to migrate that.
