Emby and nordvpn meshnet

Does Emby support nordvpn meshnet, I’ve tried meshnet with Plex and it works great but not sure about Emby support

HI, do we need to add support for it? Can't you just install it on the system and then everything goes through the vpn? I doubt Plex added any special support for it.

I’ve done the same meshnet tutorial setup as plex for Emby but it won’t  connect to my Emby server, but I could connect to the plex server using meshnet though, when you get to custom server access urls in tutorial all I changed was the port number from 32400 to 8096 for Emby, I was also trying to access Emby from the same devices that I used when accessing  plex so it should of work but It didnt work, also when I go to the URL that I created in this tutorial for meshnet , it says forbidden when I try to access my emby server using meshnet 

plex uses 32400 port

emby uses 8096 port

When meshnet is on it doesn’t turn the main vpn on in NordVPN fyi, I have no problem connecting to my Emby server remotely with or without vpn on, it’s only when I turn on meshnet is when I have the problem connecting to Emby server remotely but it works with plex which doesn’t make sense, i think meshnet works like it’s a split tunnel that’s why the main NordVPN connection isn’t required to be connected to a vpn server for meshnet to work

wondering what you found out on using nord meshnet. im having some issues as well. 

when you have meshnet on. you need to create another connection to the server, with the ip address nord gives you for that server. 

im only having trouble with live tv and strms. anything stored on server is accessible. but if emby has to pull in a stream then send a stream to the client. i think emby try to send to client local ip address instead of the meshnet ip the client has.
