Hi, you could try removing the trakt plugin, then restarting the server and seeing how things compare.

Hi, that worked. I uninstalled and restarted the server and it is now as responsive as normal. Should I try to reinstall Trakt but skip the import this time? All the files seem to retain their watched status after the uninstall.

I would try installing it again and then running the import during off-hours if you find that it's consuming a lot of resources.

But I can also see that in one log, the activity is filled with Intro detection, not Trakt, so it could be that.

Remember that when you enabled intro detection there was a warning underneath the field that it would cause library scans to take significantly longer and use more resources.

I do not recall enabling Intro detection - I am not even sure what this is.  Also, I do not think that this is it - it worked fine before the Trakt import and it is working fine now that Trakt has been uninstalled. The actual import did not take that long what I can recall.

You might be right that it's not the problem. I haven't looked at every single log but I did see that in one of them, so i just thought it was worth  mentioning.

It certainly is bizarre and is the first time since I started using Emby a long long time ago that I have had a problem. I will advise on what happens when I reinstall Trakt (note that I will not be running the import as I do not think that is needed).

I think this is resolved now. The 2nd reinstall worked (it was not updating Trakt so I had to uninstall and reinstall/register again). Everything seems to be responsive and Trakt is being updated. Thank you for all your help - you can now mark this as closed.
