Xalactic 6 Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Is there a way to prevent certain shows or movies from being included in the library cover image that gets generated? Under Settings > Server > Library I can go in and upload an image manually instead, but it would be nice if certain items could just be hidden from it. For context, I have two profiles on Emby. One has parental controls enabled to hide anything above PG-13. This works except that media rated R / TV-MA is in the library cover image and is shown to the restricted profile (noticed it happening on the Roku app). This isn't a huge issue but just feels like a small "leak" in the parental controls feature.
GrimReaper 4740 Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 (edited) Currently there isn't, you can either assign image manually (which you're already doing) or just delete auto-generated thumb and let it recreate upon library scan - and repeat the process until you're satisfied with the resulting image.
