Ads while playing content

Hi,

I recently purchased the Emby unlock app to play the content on my server from the TV and since then, ads started appearing. I wasn't expecting to have ads on a paid app. Could someone clarify if this should be this way or not?

Yeah, that's not coming from Emby, they never had ad banners like that or any ad banner at all.

thanks for the quick replies

that's interesting because i didn't install anything else on the TV..... I'll see what else came pre-installed. do you know what ports are needed for Emby to function properly? I could limit the access to those and avoid anything else

I reset the TV to default settings, uninstalled/disabled the pre-installed software and installed emby. Doesn't seem to be doing it anymore
