pr3dict 33 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Google is telling me my emby server domain is dangerous again. Last time this happened we had our botnet friends come hang out with us. This is a new addition to my Emby folder. Anyone have it on theirs or know what its for?
Luke 42077 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 HI, these are just private keys of the installation package. Perfectly normal.
pr3dict 33 Posted September 23, 2023 Author Posted September 23, 2023 Well thats good to know Anything in here look off? embyserver-63831068868.txt
Luke 42077 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Nothing looks off to me. If you haven't setup SSL then that would be one thing to do to avoid having the browser display all kinds of warnings when users enter your web app.
pr3dict 33 Posted September 23, 2023 Author Posted September 23, 2023 (edited) I do have SSL setup with a commercial SSL cert provider. This error isnt saying that the connection isnt secure just that the website may be compromised. This exact error came up last time when the whole botnet attack thing happened. Luke 42077 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 See other topics about this. Google thinks your server is trying to impersonate Emby. You will need to file a ticket with them to get unflagged. This should be less likely to occur in 4.7.14, and even less likely in 4.8, but we're still trying to get to the bottom of what causes chrome to think this. 1
justinrh 260 Posted September 24, 2023 Posted September 24, 2023 What does Chrome tell you when you click "Details"?
