Brianjohn 3 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Things were hunky dory here. I posted quite a few old family videos, checked a few out. I had to reboot and now I get the 'too many errors' error. It makes no difference if I am using a remote client or trying from the console. . I and running Mint with Emby server 4.7.11.0. I rebooted a couple of times with no luck. Permissions to the drive seem ok. Maybe this is my excuse to go back to Windows. thanks, Bj
sargenthp 35 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 I am assuming this is an Emby error? Can you post the log? Switching OS's might not "fix" your issue.
ebr 16177 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
Brianjohn 3 Posted September 25, 2023 Author Posted September 25, 2023 (edited) I was more frustrated then I was submitting a formal issue. Turns out Emby could not see the media folders. Once I set the libraries up again everything came back ok. A short while later the problem cropped up again (no compatible streams). Setting the libraries up again, again solved the problem (for now). thanks, Bj Edited September 25, 2023 by Brianjohn 1 1
