BalthazarBux 16 Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Hi! Lately I've experienced that my CPU doing all the work for all my video files...., Im sure the HW transcoding worked before. >>>>>> Processing Plan Name CanDoInHW WillDoInHW Reason NVDEC NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 - H.264 ... >> True True Hardware Codec VideoInput >> False False The sw pipeline builder does not support hw accelera... VideoOutput >> False False Not a hardware encoder x264 Software Encoder >> False False Software Codec Getting so in the log. What is it I can do? Is it something I need to update? The software pipeline builder... Is that ffdshow or something else?

BalthazarBux 16 Posted September 23, 2023 Author Posted September 23, 2023 Oh wait! Is it because of H.265 video? It doesnt support encoding that? Maybe it is that... H.264 was more common before and now H.265 is more of a standard in my files. I'm gonna test with a 264 file-

BalthazarBux 16 Posted September 23, 2023 Author Posted September 23, 2023 Ill guess my graphics card doesnt support encoding...? But I'm almost sure it was HW transcoding before. I always woke up when someone tried to transcode from my server since the fans starting go berserk, but after I activated it stopped. But now it has started again. Maybe just imagination

And when Transcoding its need both. You would need a 1050 as a minimum or even better a 1650.
