At the same time Emby does not control the embedded metadata Trailer url for any media.  As it comes from TMDB per whatever user applied it.  But at the same time when a URL is select who controls the quality Emby or Youtube?  @Luke

But @Kelian_issue has nothing to do with the Trailers Plugin which was updated to YouTube Trailers.

The quality is handled automatically by the youtube player that we are embedding.

I just tried it on the Windows desktop app, and I have another problem... the trailer won't even start. Is it just me?

That will be resolved soon. We will be pushing out a compatibility update for youtube trailers in the windows app.

ok thanks :)

I also tested it via web browsers, and it seems to be working fine. So the impact seems to be limited to the macOS application.

Guys I have to apologize for my last statment in reference to trailers, I misspoke and wanted to accept the responsibility.

I"ve been dealing with the trailer issue for so long I gave up on it and stopped checking in, I commented about the Admins/Devs "should be embarrased" for how long the issue lingered, as mentioned I'd stopped checking on it and didn't realized progress had been made.  I'd I'd like to apologize to the Admins, Devs as well as the members for the incorrect statment.

Thanks.
