You need to give some details, like client app, errors, etc.

Are you connecting to the server with an IP address?  Did the address change on the new router?

no i didn't change ip in my new router!
a friend of mine has made the settings, when he had installed the emby program.
I don't know what to do now

You are looking at port forwarding, which is required to access a network resource from outside the network.  But presumably your TV and your PC are both connected to your internal network, so no router settings should be required.

It is far more likely that either, or both, of your PC and TV have been allocated new addresses by the new router.  So check what your PC's address really is now (in Windows type "ipconfig" at a command prompt and look at the line starting "IPv4 Address"), and check that your TV is connecting to that address.

i find this

k-local ipv6 adress... fe80:xxx etc

4 adress 192.168.xxx.etc

net mask 255.255.xxx etc

ault gateway 192.xxx.etc

ipv4 is not recognized as an interntet or externalcommad

I don't know what to do at all, I'll have to change the network settings from the TV??

How are you connecting from the TV to the Emby server?  Emby client or DLNA?

In the client, you can tell it to change server and specify the new server using the IPv4 address that you saw on the PC.

i think is emny clinet,

can you show me an example how to change it?

You should have a "head and shoulders" icon top right of the screen. Go to that and click it, which will open a menu.  Click on "Change Server" in that menu, then choose the "Add Server" option and put the address in as indicated.

I changed from the TV and put a static ip, and I put the ip from the pc but still it didn't connect

It might be worth checking whether your network is in "public" mode, instead of "private".   Public restricts access and could be blocking the TV in this case.

If you have public, change it to private.

oh my god it happened connected!! thank you so much!
Do I also have to change any settings in my router in Enable Port Forwarding? Or do I not need to do anything?

You only touch the router if you want to access your server away from your network - from another house, or your phone, for instance.  There are other things you need to do for that as well, though.

and what are these things if I want to have access from someone else?
and I also saw Emby can wake up a computer that is in sleep mode through the "Walk on Lan" feature, but only through the local netwo
rk.
what do i have to do to do this too?

There are settings in Emby you need to check; there's port-forwarding in the router. (If the router is set up to allow it, Emby can use uPNP to set up the forwarding; but enabling uPNP is inherently unsafe, in my opinion, so I recommend not using it.)

If all you want is an HTTP connection using the IP address, that's it - but if you are also concerned about privacy or security, you might want to get a certificate and set up HTTPS - which also requires a domain name.

Some people go further, with a reverse proxy (which actually can be the easiest way to get HTTPS), or a VPN connection - but those are strictly optional.

I've never used Wake on Lan, so can't comment on it at present.

I was just interested when the pc is in sleep mode and I'm sitting in the living room,

and just press the wake and turn it on so I can see what I want on TV
