paulsalvate 1 Posted September 21, 2023 Author Posted September 21, 2023 I have also "allowed": 192.168.86.48 and 192.168.86.48::8096 in the Chrome site settings (Under Security Settings) so I am at a loss why I can not connect to Emby
Luke 42077 Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 I think it has more to do with something on the Synology. Is Synology firewall enabled? have you tried turning off quick connect?
paulsalvate 1 Posted September 22, 2023 Author Posted September 22, 2023 Synology fire wall is not enabled. I use webroot firewall. I have disabled it and still can't connect to emby. I also added emby to the whitefish. None of these solved the issue. I just tried disabling quickconnect and that does not solve the issue. Even after restarting Dsm. I am at a loss. If you have any other ideas please respond again. I will try and take up this issue with Synology.

I can meet with you almost anytime today (Sunday 9/24) you are available. Please just send me a text when you know when at <redacted>. I have installed AnyDesk on my computer but I am a little unclear about the ID. In anydesk it says my ID is my windows user name which is <redacted>. I also have a client ID from AnyDesk which is <redacted>. Thank you for offering to help with my issue connecting a Synology NAS and EMBY, @Carlo
