pwhodges 2012 Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 I've also just hit this, so I rather presume it's to do with .46 server (unless Theatre's just updated - I have v3.0.21). Attempting to play in Windows Theatre results in the timeline appearing, but just a spinning circle above it, and no indication of play on the dashboard. I noticed this yesterday and planned to experiment today, but just now I attempted to play two different files which I would expect to direct play. The log of those attempts is attached (no ffmeg logs were generated). The quality setting is at 1080p/8Mbps. Paul embyserver.txt 1
Luke 42078 Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Strange. Seems to be playing OK for me. Can you try restarting the app and seeing if that helps?

jellis413 4 Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Same here. I ended up having to un-install (and select the complete removal option) and then re-install and that fixed it for me. I tried at first not checking the complete removal option but that did not work. Server is 4.7.14.

Hi Yes did that and reinstalled the Windows app not working, Reinstalled the server, crated a test folder Still nothing plays in app or browser? Is it the one from the Windows Store, or is it the one downloaded from the Emby web site? The second of these is by far the more reliable one. Second - did you try Theatre on the same computer as the browser that worked, and is that the same computer as your server? Paul
