Difference between Kodi and Emby metadata nfo?

Is there some place where the actual possible content of an emby metadata nfo is explained?

I know it has been said before that emby uses the same thing as kodi for the metadata but that's not entirely accurate since things change over time and since I'm making custom nfo for some movies, I wanted to check if emby would work properly with what I'm doing.

I know there was an issue a couple years back with emby not supporting a change in how kodi handles multi-episode files in tv shows so I'd like to know if there's something similar today.

Not sure how Emby will parse this as it does not honor multi-episodes in a single nfo (kodi) style.  Emby still uses the old style

That is still the case in respect to multi-episode NFOs. As is Emby having few of its own tags. Most of the others tags should be supported, though. Is they're any in particular you're concerned with?

The <premiered> tag would pretty much be the only one I'm actually concerned with it potentially not supporting, but I mostly wanted to know if there was some place I could actually see what's the exact nfo format emby uses.

No issues with <premiered> tag for either Movies or TV Shows.

Alright, thanks for the info. I'll just hope for the best but sounds like everything should be fine.
