Conversion/Transcoding for Download Original Version

Hey,

sometimes when i download a movie (original as is) the transcoding starts before.

Seems to me, that this happens due to some subtitle issues.

Shouldn't "original as is" never start transcoding?

When playing the same file as stream, direct play is activated, so the subtitles shouldn't be an issue device

OK so what is happening?

Even though I select original version, emby starts a conversion. Something with subtitles, as I can see in the temp folders. I just want to know why. I thought original version is always without conversion

after reinstalling emby android app, the issue disappeared.

topic can be closed, will provide an example if the issue is reproducable
