During this time the whole house was unable to watch TV as Emby said we didn't have Premiere. This is very boring. Could you make it so that lifetime subs only need to check for the license once a year or something? 1

It's not like they have all our creds, know our servers and their IPs and so they know we own premiere so I agree if the internet is out there is no reason for it not to work. And if this has something to do with those who have subscription premiere that should only need to be checked when the next interval is expiring.
Sammy 790 Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Just wondering if you're using Emby Connect on your devices or if you connect via local IP Address. I can still use Emby when the internet is down on the local network AFAIK.
701h 12 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 I don't use emby connect. I'm sure this was just a random timing thing, and emby just decided to check the license during this outage. I still think it's unnecessary if the license is a lifetime one.
