Live TV - Guide - Day/date selection missing?

Following the recent update I seemed to have lost the day/date drop down selection in the Live TV guide. This selection used to appear on the left above the channel icons, but now is just a “three line” settings icon.

is there another way to jump forward to a specific date now? Sorry just can’t seem to find it.  Right scrolling still works but I don’t have any idea which day I am then on.

This goes missing on some portrait screens (on Android or iOS, for instance), and this is fixed by simply turning to landscape. 

But there was a recent report of the date missing in some other clients, which is now being looked at:

Thanks.  To confirm this is in both portrait and landscape (12.9 iPad if that helps)
