baq982 0 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) I had 9,362 videos on my hard drive, but the system only seemed to find 9,258. I was looking for a movie(SVDVD-337) the other day, and it wasn't searchable in the library, but it was searchable on my hard drive。This was the case with other videos before, and after I tried to change the file name, it seemed to show up in the library Edited September 4, 2023 by baq982
pwhodges 2012 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 A possible explanation for the different counts is that some movies have been recognised as versions of others, so they are combined with a dropdown menu to select in the movie details page. If you know the names of the missing items, you could look at items with similar names to see if that's happened, but I can't immediately think of an easy way to find such movies in Emby automatically. ebr 16187 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Hi. That's my best guess as well. If you have anything named "SVDVD" or "SVDVD-anything" then those are all going to be combined as versions of "SVDVD" because that matches our multi-version Movie Naming .
Luke 42083 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Hi, what is the title of the content in emby server?

pwhodges 2012 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 You can only prevent the combining by placing in separate folders, I think. But when the two items have been combined, you will find at the bottom of the movie details page, just at the start of the Media Info section, a button labelled "Split versions Apart". Paul
