Lately I cannot playback apparently any trailer. This is what happens: - Press play button - Black screen as the playback is starting - Playback is interrupted and the trailer page is showed - The trailer is marked as played Plase find attached the logs related to a trailer playback attempt. all4dom 101 Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 I'm having the same issue. Trailers are nit even playing on my pc. It's actually screwing up watching a movie because it's giving an error on playback on my roku & fire tv. Hopefully it's something fixable?

Luke 42080 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 The refresh internet channels scheduled task should have run by now and removed all of the trailers that are no longer available, unless of course if you removed the schedule for it.
blgentry 51 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 I just manually ran the Refresh Internet Channels task, as it had not run for 10 hours. Indeed it removed all of the non-working trailers from new and upcoming in theaters and Netflix. Those two trailer areas are now almost empty. New and upcoming in theaters has ONE trailer. New and upcoming in Netflix has zero trailers. Are there plans to populate these trailer buckets with working trailer links? Older movie trailers are working as expected. Actually they seem to be working better than before. There is very little delay now, where it used to take up to 20 seconds for one of them to start. Thanks for working on this issue. Brian.

bludus 5 Posted September 9, 2023 Author Posted September 9, 2023 Hello, I confirm what reported by blgentry: new&upcoming folders with just 1 trailer, archive folder populated with trailers of movies released before 2018. Just a note: while the trailers in archive folder apparently work correctly, the one in new&upcoming folders cannot be played giving a no compatible stream... error. Thanks Maurizio 1

BAS 225 Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Using trailers plugin 1.3.7.0 and running the refresh internet channels task I have trailers back for two categories. The option for a category for upcoming to netflix still exists in the trailer plugin settings but that doesnt appear to be visible anymore. Trailer playback all works fine for me on the trailer archive and upcoming to theater items. Thanks for the fix. 1

I'm having the same experience. Running the shield pro at 4k. The trailers look like straight trash. All SD. 2

That’s with the latest version of the plug-in and refresh on the internet channels task. This even applies to the movie trailer archive area as well. Edited September 21, 2023 by BAS
