SwanStream 64 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 (edited) So I'm on the current 4.8.0.44 beta, just came from the prior#43. For some time now, back several/many beta releases I've had a problem with auto-organize not oragnizing things I felt it should be able to find.... didn't think too much of it, and today I was trying to use the file icon to organize/teach it a few when I saw this in the list... many titles are duplicated.... not sure what to make of it or do about it. Any ideas? Edit: And no, the series are NOT duplicated on the TV Shows listing. There is only one directory for each show, and only one version of each episode... Edited August 31, 2023 by SwanStream

Is anyone looking at doing a fix or just the 'work around.' And there doesn't seem to be an answer anyway... Edited August 31, 2023 by SwanStream
Luke 42078 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 We haven't had a chance to look at data cleanup because it's something that shouldn't happen anymore on newer server versions and is a defect caused by older versions. It is also largely harmless except for this.
SwanStream 64 Posted August 31, 2023 Author Posted August 31, 2023 Till it happens again next time something doesn't get caught in pre-beta testing... I'd suggest that having a way of 'backing up watched status' and other non-recreatable data would be a powerful tool regardless of this issue. Allowing people like me that have been with Emby for going on 20+ years to clean up the flack from years of beta testing... or drop all that watched/etc in the nfo files so it can be scraped if the db gets scrambled. Appreciate the honest answer even if it doesn't help. 1
