Emby Connect not showing any servers on some accounts

As of two days ago, two family members can no longer access the server using Emby Connect.  They get the Sign in with Connect screen and pin, enter it and it says pin confirmed in the browser window, but on the Nvidia Shield, after they hit Next, it spins for a bit, then just shows Enter Manually and Sign Out of Connect, with no servers.  I went over there to troubleshoot one of them last night and I tried (this is latest Nvidia Shield 2019 model):

Logging out
Clearing app cache
Deleting and re-installing the app
Rebooting the device
Trying other smart devices within the house
Tried logging in with my account

Nothing works anymore.  Then I loaded a VPN onto their Shield (Torguard) and connected to a Chicago server, and then Emby Connect was able to display a server and work.  Emby is still working on other accounts, but for two people it no longer will without running through a VPN.  Any tips?

Hi, most likely they removed the servers from their account, so you'll need to go through the Emby Connect linking process again with those users.

Sorry, forgot to mention I did that also.  Had an instance in the past where no matter what, somebody couldn't get on, so I deleted their account, then re-added a new one, then linked it to their Emby Connect account.  Did that last night also, still didn't work.  Like I said, I couldn't even get on with my account until it was running with the VPN.

That's really odd because if something was blocking or interfering without when not running the VPN, you most likely wouldn't be able to sign in at all. I just tested and it seems to be working fine.

I asked them if it loaded and they said:

"No, it just won’t even open it just sits on a screen that says emby"
