preselection of different movie formats

Actually this is not really related to Android only but more a generic question.

 

Sometimes I do have the same movie in different formats - i.e. 4K and 3D (or HD).

Folder \ movie 1

    movie 1 - 4K.mkv

    movie 1 - 2D.mkv

    movie 1 - 3D.iso

    movie 1 - HD.mkv

I don't know why but in 99% of the cases Emby select the 4K version as standard - means when I don't pay attention, the 4K format will be played. However, for some devices it would make more sense to play the 3D version as standard. Is there any option how to define which format will be played first ?

Not currently.

okay - I did wrote in the feature request section - but my confidence is pretty low because this request is already more than 5 y old...

It's old, but it gets mentioned regularly in various contexts, so don't give up hope!
