Darius 14 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Hey folks so big one for me admittedly and a lot of users wanting to preserve the lifespan of their monitors: On windows using the Emby theatre app will prevent the computer from turning the screen off even when paused, during playback this is totally understandable but if I pause the video, it should be that the screen saver is allowed to kick in after whatever delay I decided for in my OS settings. This is very detrimental to the lifespan of modern monitors.

Darius 14 Posted August 30, 2023 Author Posted August 30, 2023 the lastest and greatest 4.7.14.0, it may have been auto-updated in the meanwhile, I don't know for sure but the behavior I described happened a week ago and I am able to currently reproduce it.
